about me

Hey there! My name's Kristen and I'm a junior in college with what can only be described as a penchant for exploring. If you've met me, chances are you've heard "let's go on an adventure!" more than once. I always mean it.

I currently intend to double major in archaeology and history (emphasis on the currently, as I've changed it about thirty times so far). I'm a writer, a singer, a baker, and a Virgo, and I'm mostly just excited for the revival of Harry Potter and Star Wars that's taking over everything right now.

Come in and make yourself at home. There will always be a kettle on the stove and cookies in the oven for friends. It's all in the spirit of boots in the stars, an idea I fell in love with one night while I was turning cartwheels and failing at handstands in the yard. I was sick of feeling like I had my head in the clouds, so I decided it would be much more fun to flip everything on its end and walk in the skies, where anything goes if you're brave enough. Boots in the stars has become a promise to myself to always remember the magic in the mundane, and I hope it can become something similar for you, too.
